Events in the region

The Olympiaregion Seefeld offers all year round a lot of cultural and sporting events. We informe our guests about special events that are worth a visit.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds

Swarovski Crystal Worlds was opened in 1995 to mark the centennial anniversary of the company’s founding. Multimedia artist André Heller designed a unique and magical place. This beloved attraction has brought moments of wonder to over twelve million visitors from all around the world. Visitors are surprised, touched, and perhaps even transformed by crystal in all its facets. In May 2015, Swarovski Crystal Worlds ushered in a new era of wonder. The Chambers of Wonder exude a new brilliance; five of them have been completely redesigned and expanded outwards to include an open space of crystalline nature: the garden.

In this magical place, you will encounter modern art as well as ancient history. Visit the Giant and his garden and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty, inspiration and energy, the care, and esthetics.
In cooperation with Swarovski Crystal Worlds, we can offer our guests the exclusive "Crystal & Lounge experience" package.

At the 20th Innsbruck Promenade Concerts, international military, police and civilian orchestras will give it their all as they perform pieces that represent several centuries of musical history alongside small brass ensembles and big brass bands. New Orleans Jazz Festival

INNSBRUCK

20 to 23 July 2017

In July, the New Orleans Jazz Festival fills the streets of Innsbruck with southern flair and passion, making visitors to the capital of Tyrol feel like they are standing by the Mississippi rather than the River Inn. This open-air event was established by Markus Linder in 1998 after he was inspired by a visit to the largest city in Louisiana, which is both the birthplace of jazz and also one of Innsbruck’s twin cities. Jazz, zydeco and rhythm & blues have been bringing the spirit of New Orleans to Tyrol every summer since. Throughout the festival, which takes place over several days, international and local musicians create a fusion of the two cultures.
