As part of our closing period from 18 March to 18 June 2019, new panoramic suites are being constructed on the seventh floor. These seven new Penthouse Suites also create a new dimension of luxury with a high degree of privacy. Find out about the current state of development on our timeline-blog and become part of one of the biggest Interalpen-renovation projects of recent years. We will be happy to keep you up to date on interesting developments until the opening day in summer 2019.
Today we would like to share impressive new pictures of the conversion of our Penthouse Suites. This time, apparently from up above in order to provide you with a totally different perspective.
A few days ago, we got a really great snapshot, which we present to you in today's blog post. For you we move mountains!
At this point, we would also like to point out that our dearly loved local mountain, the Hohe Munde, is doing well, of course and we are sure it is eagerly watching the happenings here at the hotel from high above.
On this picture, the Liebherr crane is the only one responsible for the realisation of the seven new Panorama Suites.
In addition to the pictures of the reconstruction on the 7th floor, we would also like to provide you with interesting details about the redesign of the Interalpen-Penthouse Suites. On our blog, we therefore open the section "Did you know that ...?" and feed them regularly with interesting facts.
The construction works continue to progress: currently there is bright sunshine and thus best construction-weather. The imposing Liebherr cranes now tower far above the hotel into the sky and the transformation on the 7th floor has begun. We are looking forward to show you more impressions soon.
As of today, the closing period has officially begun. After the departure of the last guests the day before, the first cranes, excavators and trucks arrived at the Interalpen and with them a large number of construction workers. Only the weather has not quite decided yet: The bright spring days on the weekend were followed on Monday morning by partly heavy snowfall. Nevertheless, everything is going according to plan and the reconstruction work on the 7th floor can be tackled confidently.
