The apprenticeship programme

We educate our apprentices in compliance with the international standard. We pay particular attention to genuine, friendly and attentive interaction with guests and professionally organised procedures.

During the year, you will have the opportunity to take part in the apprentice days: These include health promotion workshops, personal development seminars and excursions to our suppliers.

From the 2nd year of your apprenticeship, you can take part in a 4 to 6-week exchange programme at our sister hotels in Ireland.

Would you like to complete your A-levels at the same time as your apprenticeship? We will be happy to support you in your further education.

For questions, concerns and feedback: Our 13 dedicated trainers at the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol are at the heart of our training philosophy. Together with our experienced training manager, they look after the development and expertise of our apprentices. Their task is not only to impart technical expertise, but also to act as mentors and supporters.

Whether it is about professional challenges, personal concerns or career prospects - our trainers are always there for you to provide advice and support. With us, you will not only find an apprenticeship, but also a unique #topteam that will accompany and support you along the way.

The 5-star superior hotel, Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, is a member of ‘Preferred SM’. Whichever apprenticeship you choose, you learn the highest standards for your future profession.

The entire portfolio of tasks is served by 13 departments within the hotel, from laundry to bookkeeping to marketing. Working in the departments and cooperating with others, you learn how hotel workflow is organised.

We care about what you want, and about the quality of your apprenticeship. We help you participate in competitions for apprentices, and assist as you study for A-levels during your traineeship.

You can send us an application anytime. There are no deadlines for submissions or starting dates for courses. These are things we agree together.

Send a detailed CV with a photo, letter explaining your motivation, school-leaving exam certificates and end-of-year certificates from the final two years. If you already have some work experience, please send us a reference from your employer.

On receipt of your application, we will contact you within the week. The second step will be that we arrange a personal meeting, after which you will be invited to a work trial.

Are you are interested in what we do, generally curious about things and a good team player? Do you like practical work and enjoy hands-on situations? Are you a good communicator and do you enjoy working with people? If so, we look forward to receiving a letter explaining your motivation. Candidates returning to education after working in another sector are also very welcome to apply.

In addition to the planned curriculum, Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol also stages its own training initiatives. 

As standard, our training coordinator organises seminars and trainings for specific disciplines. These can, of course, also be attended by apprentices.

From the 2nd year of the traineeship, there’s the chance to join a 4 – 6-week exchange programme with affiliated hotels in Ireland.

The Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol and five affiliated hotels are all run by the Liebherr Group. The other Liebherr hotels are located in Ireland, Austria and Germany.

From the 2nd year of the traineeship, we can help you join a 4 – 16-week exchange programme with affiliated hotels in Ireland. Benefits include additional practical experience, new contacts and a chance to improve your foreign language skills.
