Accessibility statement
The Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol GmbH endeavours to ensure that its websites comply with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended to implement Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).
This accessibility statement applies to the website: https://www.interalpen.com/
Status of compliance with requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformity level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1’ and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
- Videos (recorded subtitles)
Videos are integrated via external hosting providers (YouTube, Vimeo). Some recorded videos do not have subtitles, meaning that the spoken content is not available to deaf users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.2 (recorded subtitles) is not met. - Lack of alternative text for images
Some images and graphic elements lack meaningful alternative text. This means that screen reader users are unable to access some content. This particularly affects WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content). - Integrated external tools and services
For certain external services (e.g. booking or analysis tools), complete accessibility cannot be guaranteed in all areas, as these systems are provided by third-party providers.
We are continuously working to improve existing accessibility and to gradually remedy non-accessible content.
b) Disproportionate burden
- Videos (recorded audio description): We are unable to provide the required audio descriptions for the large number of videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (recorded audio description) is not met. We believe that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.
c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
- Our website contains links to external websites and embedded tools, among other things. As this content is outside our area of responsibility, we have no influence on its accessibility.
We are constantly working to improve existing accessibility and gradually remove any non-accessible content.
