Housekeeping: With an eye for detail
Chapeau – or hats off! The housekeeping team manages to clean up to 283 rooms and all the publicly accessible areas of the hotel in accordance with the very highest standards, every day. They are also responsible for the hotel’s in-house laundry, while a troupe of florists keeps the hotel decorated with around 130,000 cut flowers throughout the year.
This department consists of around 60 ladies and gentlemen working in small groups, paying great attention to detail, quietly working in the background, but always there with a smile. If needed, the head of housekeeping, Lisa Gareis, is happy to roll up her sleeves and always takes time for her staff. This is reflected by the excellent working atmosphere throughout the entire team.
